The Angel Bulldogge was created by combining two established Bulldogge lines. Hermes and Victorian style Bulldogs.

Origins of the Olde English Bulldogge Breed
In ancient times breeds were not as we know them today. It is believed that
the original Bulldog was created about two thousand years ago, by selective
breeding of English Mastiff type dogs to produce a smaller more agile dog.
The Bulldogs of old were very different from today's English Bulldog. Ancient
Bulldogs were taller more agile and had longer muzzles. During the past few decades
efforts have been made to reproduce the Bulldog of old the Old Style English Bulldog.
This alternative Bulldog breed is referred to as the Olde English Bulldogge.
